X3: Characters (cont.)

topic posted Thu, May 19, 2005 - 8:28 AM by  Gary
I just noticed nobody had posted this yet, but a day or two ago it was officially announced that Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier) will be Beast in the new movie.

Weird. I mean the voice is dead on. . . but weird.

It will be interesting to see him doing some action scenes, at least one's that don't involve drinking with Norm.

Give Bebe Neuworth a blond wig and she could play Emma Frost!

Bebe Neuworth is way too old to play Emma.

Either Tricia Helfer of "Battlestar Galactica" , or Victoria Pratt of "Mutanx X" would be perfect for Emma Frost

The Beebs is not "way too old" for Emma. Emma is a contemporary of Xavier and Magneto, neither of whom is in the blush of youth. That aside, I don't think she looks her age, either. I think she would be perfect too.
Kelsey's gonna have to bulk up!

No, Sebastian Shaw (an entirely better role for Kelsey Grammer) is a contemporary of Xavier and Magneto. Charles has Jean, Eric has Raven, and Sebastian has Emma.

Emma Frost is a professional peer of Xavier's, as Headmistress (GOD that sounds hot!) of the Massachusetts Academy, but she is actually closer in age to Jean and Cyclops. That explains why she could have an affair with Cyke without an "ick" factor.

I think Bebe would make a great Gabrielle Haller, though

Claudia Black - Moira Mac Taggert
                    Monica Bellucci- Selene
                    Keith Hamilton Cobb- Bishop
                    Robert Z'Dar- Juggernaut

Ah, but you see, Juggernaut is generally seen as a square jawed, heavy browed, brute of a man with very little social ability.

Robert Z'Dar doesn't need much talent to play Juggernaut. Hell, he doesn't even need to get into makeup to fit that bill. I mean, have you SEEN the guy???
